Passenger Name Records and Booking Files

Passenger Name Records (PNR) and Booking Files (BF) are essential to storing and booking reservations and associated traveler information. PNRs and BFs perform essentially the same function. However, PNRs are used by the Apollo CRS, while BFs are used by the Galileo CRS. The travel itinerary for one or more individuals in maintained in the PNR or BF, which contains all the details of a specific trip, including air, car, and hotel reservations. It may also contain other pertinent data, such as the form of ticket payment, special meals in-flight, and seat assignments.
